Cancer Pharmacogenomics and Targeted Therapies 2014

17-19 September 2014

Wellcome Trust Genome Campus, Hinxton, Cambridge, UK

    Registration now closed.
    Conference hashtag: #cancerpharmaco14

We are pleased to announce the 2nd Wellcome Trust Conference on Cancer Pharmacogenomics and Targeted Therapies. The conference will once again bring together leading scientists and clinician-scientists from academia and industry to focus on the key challenges in the design, development and clinical implementation of targeted cancer therapies.

Pharmacogenomics is at the leading edge of the application of genomic data to guide the development and application of precision cancer therapies.  We encourage abstract submission from all areas relevant to the main theme of the meeting and several oral presentations will be selected from the submitted abstracts.

The meeting will focus on the key concepts and challenges in this field, including:
• Insights from the mutational landscape of cancers
• Tumour heterogeneity and the impact on therapies
• New and emerging therapeutic targets
• Pre-clinical biomarker discovery and evaluation
• Effects of tumour environment on therapeutic response
• Immunotherapy
• Deployment of targeted therapies in the clinic
