17 – 18 March 2010
Wellcome Trust Conference Centre, Wellcome Trust Genome Campus, Hinxton, Cambridge, UK.
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED
Perspectives in Clinical Proteomics is part of an event series of open registration proteomics training workshops followed by a 2 day conference jointly sponsored by the Wellcome Trust and the EBI.
The training workshop will focus on assisting the researcher to select the most appropriate underlying protein sequence database on which to base peptide identifications. The participants will then explore resources appropriate for adding functional annotation to the resultant list of proteins. The use of the PRIDE database, both for data storage but also for data retrieval and reanalysis in the light of previously existing data, will be looked at. Finally tools for bringing these, and other, resources together to ease the process of data analysis will be discussed. Wet-lab biologists with little or no bioinformatics experience are welcome, in addition to dedicated computer scientists.
The 2 day, Perspectives in Clinical Proteomics Conference will be taking place adjacent to the training workshop, 18 – 19 March 2010, for more information please click here
